r/startups on Reddit: How do you find a cofounder?

I feel having a cofounder can really help, but it just seems to be that lots of successful founders just so happens to have a good friend from college who is tech savvy and also is into entrepreneurship (and therefore became their cofounder). Is that the case for most startups?
