r/startups on Reddit: Founders: Don’t bait users with fake “forever free” tiers (Playbook example) (I will not promote)

The 100Gb are truly free, I don’t see any problems with their advertisements. Caps are common on free plans. But I do hate bare and switch. Actual bait and switch switch looks like having 100GB forever free, and 6 months from now reducing it or altogether removing it. Worse of all if you paid for a “lifetime” license, but the license becomes worthless as they switch to a subscription model. Won’t point fingers but I’ve seen it several times and always hated it.
