I've been running ChatGPT and Claude side-by-side for a week, both on paid plans (plus for CGPT, Pro for Claude). I have a window open for each and have been repeatedly running the same conversation in each, most often word-for-word. Not to run a test but because I know how often either can miss the mark so I figure with two, I improve the overall result. And they both have the same rules about inference, etc. And I've been running them on their best models - Opus 4.6 extended thinking vs 5.2/5.4 thinking.
