For the Curious, the Ambitious, and the Discontented Greetings, fellow explorers. My name is Max, and this isn't a sales pitch but an invitation.Over the past four years, we've been quietly working on something fundamentally different. Drawing inspiration from thinkers like Steve Novak, we've been exploring the evolution of cooperation theories in an entirely new context: a fully decentralized online society. We envisage a community empowered with potent no-code tools to craft a myriad of robust motivational engineering systems. Through this process, we aim to forge a universally accepted distributed reputation system. The Journey So FarOur journey hasn't been easy. To kickstart this socio-technological experiment, we needed a solid foundation. That foundation is a no-code system, which we've spent the past four years developing, that can build complex applications on any distributed database. Now in its 3.2 version, this system is the bedrock of everything we aim to achieve: providing the most potent tools for designing motivation engineering systems, enabling any determined high-energy individuals to shape their own objectives. With this technology, any user can attempt to build a system focused on solving a problem they're passionate about and gain support from total strangers. The problem could be economic in nature, such as how to increase the awareness and acceptance of a content creator's work, or how to boost the sales of a particular product. Or it could be a problem requiring a high degree of automation, such as promoting an organization or building a cooperation mechanism for people with different risk preferences. This system needs to be stored on a tamper-proof state transition mechanism, which is used for managing the data/reputation of people's short-term motivations.Traditionally, such motivational engineering capabilities have been used by large-scale monopolistic regional violent organizations to control people's behavior, and by a minority of higher-level individuals who monopolize the means of production. The purpose of providing this user-friendly system engineering tool is to hope to see more determined creators and pioneers push the boundaries of such issues.Yet, we also recognize the risk of anonymity in this endeavor. In a world where identities can be hidden, the challenge of maintaining order and cooperation becomes even more significant. Our cyber society is built on anonymity, making a distributed reputation system crucial for fostering meaningful cooperation. We believe that a reputation-based accountability system can help maintain the checks and balances necessary for a thriving society. Why Now?In retrospect, I may have been overly cautious, withholding this idea from public discourse at its inception. However, after four years of diligent work, I believe the time is ripe to lay the groundwork and introduce this platform to a broader audience. Our current plan is to start opening up some of the design aspects to public discourse via our Discord channel. We invite you to join us, contribute your ideas, and help us stress-test these systems. In return, we promise transparency, collaboration, and the chance to see your suggestions come to life. We're reaching out to communities brimming with thinkers, innovators, and those unafraid to challenge the status quo. We invite you to join our brainstorming sessions, where your thoughts and ideas can have a real impact on this project's completion. We welcome all reactions—interest, skepticism, and enthusiasm. So, join us on our Discord channel for detailed discussions.Looking forward to embarking on this journey together.Discord: https://discord.gg/6H4bcZYtWV Website: https://highsea.io/
