In a blog post, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei vowed to fight the action, which is usually reserved for foreign adversaries, writing that Anthropic has "no choice but to challenge it in court." In the post, Amodei also said he resumed negotiations with the Defense Department to put a military contract back on the table. OpenAI (OPAI.PVT) reached a deal with the government last week, which elicited pushback from employees and users.
